Melina Kannakaredes was raised in New York City. She has played Dr. Sydney Hansen (NBC) and the character Dr. Lane Hunter (The Resident) two medical dramas, on television. Additionally, she earned applause for her television debut part as a character on Guiding Light on CBS as Eleni Cooper.
