Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci, (born November 12th, 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej [now OnestiGheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej [now Onesti Romania) Romanian gymnast who was the first gymnast in history to be awarded a perfect score of 10 during the Olympic event. Bela Karalyi was introduced to Comaneci when she was six. Later, she would become Romania's gymnastics coach. The first time she competed was at the National Junior Championships which she finished 13th in the year 1969. In the year 1970, she took home the title. In her first international competition in 1972, a pre-Olympic junior event for countries of the communist bloc she took home three gold medals. Then in 1973 and 1974 she became an the all-around junior champion. In 1975, she took home four golds and one silver in her first senior international competition. Lyudmila Torishcheva was a five-time European Champion. The first female to ever successfully complete the backwards double salto when dismounting from an uneven parallel bar. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Her career in the world of entertainment began in her teens when she began skating figure with her younger sibling Nina Wayne as part of the traveling entertainment shows called Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was a born on 6th September 1942 in Chicago Illinois. Carol was a part of the entertainment industry during her teenage years. When she was a child, she began performing as an ice skater with Nina Wayne in the travelling show of entertainment Ice Capades. These shows included the ice skating of which was followed by musical performances.
